PANTOMIME NEXT' FRIDAY
The plans are now open at the Recent box office for the pantomime, '“Dick Whittington" which will bo presented at the Opera House next Friday and Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.tn. This type ol entertainment should appeal to young and old alike as it is so rarely .seen in Gisborne. Local talent lias been in active rehearsal for some time and a ballet and chorus of 50 have been specially trained by Maureen Kenny. Speed and quick changes are the feature of this show, and comedy, singing, and dancing have been happily blended into the slo'v The comedy part ol the Dame "ill bo played by Will B. Ivoany, who is also the producer. so there will bo plenty of laughs. The ballets are colorful and: have beautiful frocks, and the transformation scenes are artistic and a. delight for the eye. The efforts of a tiny tot ballet will meet with much approval from old and young alike. The box plans are now open at the Regent box oftiee.
