. BRITAIN’S PEPPER CRISIS. SUMMONSES ON BUSINESS MEN. (U.P.A. ny Elec. Tel- Copyright). (Received Nov. 8, 8.15 p.m.)LONDON, Nov. 7. Summonses have been issued arising out of the pepper crisis in February on Earabed Bishirgian, deputy chairman of James and Shakespeare, now in compulsory liquidation; John Iloweson. director of many companies and a member of the executive of the Tin Producers Association; and Louis Hardy, former managing director of the Williams, Henry Company, in which Howeson was ia large shareholder, and which was closely associated with James and Shakespeare. All the summonses refer -to a prospectus issued concerning James and Shakespeare.
