Traill, at one!time of Gisr borne, which occurred nt Eihgn. Einga., Stewart. Island. She . was the only daughter of the Bev. •’Jw F. H. Wohlers, a .German Lutheran minister, who in 1844 established, on Ru.apuke Island, the first, European mission to the Maoris of Murihiku.
