St." Ancirew’s Presbyterian v.nmeh, Hastings, was the scene of a very pretty wedding, .when. Gwendoline, only daughter of Mr and Mrs J. PMoore, of Wairoa, was married to Mr .E; James Instill, of Napier, second son of Mr and Airs H. W. Insuil, of New;Plymouth. The Rev. D. J. A. Shaw officiated at the ceremony.

The bride, who was given away liy her father,, wore a. gown of Jubileebine rice crepe. The corsage had a boat-shaped neckline and short, lull sleeves. A sash of deeper blue velvet' was tied at the back and 101 l softly to the ground. She wore a natural balcu straw liat finished with a bow of blue velvet, and blue shoos and gloves. Her bouquet was of pale pink .shaded camellias, with winter loses, freesias and fern..

■ Miss'" Vivian Harris, ■ ot, YYellinigton, was: bridesmaid. Her. gown was iof dove-grey silver threaded cotello, fashioned on long .straight lines, with long sleeves. Touches of pink velvet trimmed the corsage, and she wore a largo pink velvet hat. Her bouquet was composed of deep pink camellias, freesias and winter roses.

The best man was Air Godfrey Insult, of Palmerston North, brother'of the bridegroom.
