A women’s hockey match between the Now Zealand touring team and Wellington was played this afternoon and resulted in ad raw, one .goal each. Piling 'on eight goals in the final 20 minutes, the Indian hockey tourists trounced -Pinko at MorrinsviFe by I<l goals to one. Rup Siingh anti Wells scored 11 ol the Indian total. Pinko’s goal was chiefly gained as a remit of a- misunderstanding in the circle. HASTINGS RETAIN TROPHY AGAINST WATRARAPA tl’roa* Associationi HASTINGS, July 11. In a hockey game for the Nordon Cup, Hastings successfully withstood a challenge by Wairarapa, winning the match by 6 goals to 2. Tire home side had the ascendency throughout most off the match, and had control off the game for the most part. The scorers for Hastings were Stitt (3)t, Fid ton (2), and McKay, while Foster and Fisher scored for Wairarapa. UMPIRES FOR TO-MORROW.
