Captain Hon. E. It. Drummon-L who has been appointed to succeed .Rear-Admiral F. Burges Watson as Commodore in command of the New Zealand naval station, arrived at Auckland yesterday by the Mataroa. He is accompanied by the Lady Evelyn Drummond. Captain Drummond will take command from the date of the hoisting of the brood pennant, when Rear-Admiral Burges Watson leaves.. The new commodore will be received on board H.M.S. Dunedin this morning with the usual naval courtesies.
