A MIDNIGHT ORDEAL. SOMEONE KNEELING IN THE BEDROOM. The spirit of Viscountess Grey of E'allodon has appeared at V ils.ford Manor ,the country house near Salisbury where she lived and died. This belief is firmly held by members ci: her family, who have been deeply impressed by recent strange happening! in the manor house. Mysterious foodsi’eps were heard at dead cf night in the house. It is reported and confirmed that the spirit form of Lady Grey was actually seen, and that it appeared quite distinctly in a bedroom, ’’ called the Rose Room, which Lady Grey often u.~ed. Lady Grey, who was an ardent spiritualist ,died a few months ago, and left Wilsford Manor and £90,000 to her son, the Hen. David Tennant, who is married to Miss Hermione Baddeley, the actress.
