N.Z. CLYDESDALES DO WELL. SPIRITED BIDDING FOR SHORTHORNS. (U.P.A. by Elec. Tel. Copyright.) (Received April 16, 11 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 15. New Zealand bred Clydesdales were most successful in the main events at the Royal Show to-day. Happy Choice obtained first awards in the open and restricted classes for three and four-year old stallions respectively, Other New Zcaland-breds gained a second and two thirds in the remaining classes. The Shorthorn cattle sales were responsible for spirited bidding. A young roan bull from Air. McCaugbev’s estate. Narrandera, fetched 460 guineas, while twelve Shorthorns from Mr. Anthony Hordern's stud at Bowral made 1280 guineas, one fetching 300 guineas.
