ATHLETICS

JUVENILE ATHLETICS. Tho G.A.A. and H.C. is conducting a juvenile floodlight sports meeting to-morrow night on the Childers road reserve at 7.30 o’clock for juvenile athletes. A full programme of events has been arranged and the public can be assured of a very enjoyable evening. The boys and girls are all training hard and exciting finishes should bo the order of the meeting. In addition to the athletic events a wrestling bout will take place between two well-known matmen and the boys are staging two further bouts. The programme is as follows: Primary school girls’ handicap (under 10) ; primary school boys handicap (under 10) ; girls 100 yards championship; girls’ 440 yards relay; boys’ 140 yards relay championship ; boys’ 100 yards championship; boys’ 440 yards championships; boys’ 120 yards hurdles; boys’ half-mile walk championship; boys’ half-mile cycle championship; boys’ shot putt championship ; boys’ discus throw championship; boys’ high jump championship; boys’ 3-legged race, 100 yards; boys’ 100 yards novelty race; boys’ 440 yards handicap (for Sports Club members).
