MOTOR VEHICLES IN COLLISION VAN COMES TO REST ON VACANT SECTION <Pres< Associati**-* AUCKLAND, April 5. A collision occurred between a seidan car driven by Mr Cecil Young and a light delivery van owned by tho Blue Diamond Peeled Potato Service and driven by Mr Robert Howlette at the corner of Cook and Albert streets last night. Tho only person to receive injury was Mr K. Ritchie, who was also in •the van and suffered a dislocated left shoulder and concussion. After striking the motor car the van carried on down the street for 50 yards, before crossing the footpath and plunging through a corrugated iron fence. The motor car wars turned on its side and the spare wheel was knocked off by the force of the impact. It rolled across the (footpath and crashed through a largo plate glass window in a showroom. The motor car, which was righted with the assistance of spectators, was damaged extensively. The front bumper of the van was torn away and both liaedlights smashed.
