The Ladies' Golf Union emphasises that the players invited for the Australian and New Zealand tour will be reduced to five before their departure.

Those selected at present are the most prominent internationals but more may be considered if they rfi " veal •Form in coming fixtures, particularly in the open championship.

The team will leave on July 12 and arrive at Fremantle on August 13, and will spend six weeks in Australia and three weeks in New Zealand.
