LAST DAY OF “OUTCAST LADY” Constance Bennett and Herbert Marshall appear together in ‘‘Outcast Lady,” which concludes its season. at the Regent Theatre tonight. Tiho film is notable for the flawless acting by a. cast which includes, Airs Patrick Campbell, Ralph Forbes and Elizabeth Allen, and for its subtle humour, and biting satire. A striking- example of good class film bare. TO-MORROW : ‘THE GUARDSMAN’ Heading a programme of all-round excellence at the Regent tomorrow, is the diverting A! etro-Goldwyn-Mayer farce, “The Guardsman.” H brings to the talking screen for the first time Lynn Fontanne and Alfred Hunt, two of the mbst famous of New York’D stage players. They are aided and abetted' in the nonsensical stuff of which this brilliant film i s made by Ease Pitts and the over-pop-ular Roland Young. ‘ The Guardsman” depicts the efforts of a lovccraSy husband to put IDs wife’s fid'eliey to the test by making violent love to her in disguise. This makes for ga T and saucy entertainment. Alfred Hunt plays the temperamental actorhusband. and the glamorous Lynn Fontamle is the nvite.
