A combined mannequin parade and New Year’s Eve party were held above London, in a forty-two seater air liner. The passengers included representatives. of London, Paris and New York fashion houses. Just before midnight, the mannequin wearing the" last evening dress for the 1934 season, emerged from her cabin. Then, at midnight, another in the first 1935 fashion, appeared, the latter with curves and feathers showing a, Miae 'West influence and slightly reminiscent of the modes of 1910.
