The Companion (Bondholders Incorporation) Bill . was introduced by GovcL'.nor-Genei'al’s message, in. the House yesterday and. read a first time. The .object of the Bill is to enable afforestation, companies to do certain things, isuch as make preparations for milling, which/.-at present they have not the power.to do. The Bill Tvas introduced at the request of several companies hut will not be proceeded- Avitli -till the 'session is resumed early next- year. Companies may change bonds into shares. A commission will, be set up by thp Government to- see that bondholders ip the change-over lose none of-'their original rights.
