Somewhat to the surprise of the spectators, one of the wrestling bouts at the amateur athletic sports at the Childers road reserve last evening was stopped by the police. This was due to the fact that one contestant had failed to be medically examined prior to tile bout. This is an important regulation and is viewed very seriously by the police, future contestants will no doubt take the matter to heart for unless a medical certificate is shown to the police, they will not be allowed to participate in the bout.
