Evidence that Arthur H. Eastwood, the rider of Manetho in the Jockey Club Handicap on Wednesday, was kicked by Manetho in his straggles to rise, was given at the inquest this morning.

After the coroner, Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., had heard the evidence of L. G. Morris, the inquest was further adjourned.

Morris ; .said the accident happened in a flash. There was no interference with Manetho other than his striking the horse in front of him.
