Riddiford who was aged -5->. was returning; from n trip to England in the Rangit.iki. which is due at Auckland on October 24 and was accompanied bv his wife and daughter Pamela.. One of the Dominion’s best- known add most successful pastoralists. Air Riddiferd whose home was Woburn, Lower Huff, was equally prominent in racing circles. He was a member of family whoso turf associations are part, of the history of the sport in finis country. Ho, with his brother Erie, won a large number, of tho principal andicap races in New Zealand, including the New Zealand Cup the Auckland Gup, and the Grand ■National. On Ids own account. Air.
