About 14 days ago, while handling wool at Botany scouring works, Walter Cooper, .24, scratched his left arin. A small eruption appeared, and some hours later he became ill and slightly delirious. The eruption had become an ulcer.
Cooper had contracted anthrax, and he is now in hospital, recovering after injections of anti-anthrax scrum. The Minister of. Health, Mr. Weaver, is having regulations framed to lessen tho dangers to workers among articles which may caus-g,^anthrax. i '! • ' V ’ ,
