RADIO SENSATION

PROMISED BY MARCONI. LONDON, April 24. “1 hope I will surprise you within two years, as I surprised you in 1901 with transmission across the Atlantic,” is the confident message of Marchese Marconi. He is at present on his yacht Elettra preparing to carry out secret experiments with micro-waves, and is confident that the result will be one of the most sensational discoveries he has made during his career.

There is a special guard aboard the Elettru, while engineers carry out the most important wireless extensions. Marconi’s wife and the lew experimenters are tho only people in the secret. Even Signor Mussolini, whom Marconi often visits, is unenlightened, but it is believed that experiments are concentrated on the exploitation of millimetre micro-waves.
