B.'Hall, medical- 1 superintendent at Cook Hospital, gate .evidence -that Airs. Johsntone was brought to the-iitititoition on Alareh 8 about 10.30 a.in. She. was suffering from injuries received through h collision with a motor, truck. When admitted she was uncontoious. and death • supervened at 12.45 tho next morning. The post mo'rtern examination revealed fractures at the base of the skull, contusion of the brain, amputated right leg and fractures cf the right radius and left tibia below the knee. The” amputated leg w;oa the result of an operation soon after • admission, this be*tig due to a compound fracture and dislocation of the ankle-joint. Death was due to com tuision of the brain and shock from multiple injuries. ‘ Ali% Madeline E. Johnstone, >* daughter of deceased., gave evidence of identification.
