FATAL FALL FROM HORSE INQUEST CONCLUDED (Special to the Times)OPOTIKJI, Nov. 2. The inquest concerning the death of M*r Germainet Guide, who wa-s found in a dying condition on Waiotalri bach last Saturday, concluded to-day, Mr F. J. Short, coroner, presiding. Sergeant Miller conducted the proceedings, and Mr N. V. Hodgson appeared for the relatives. Dr.. E- Candy stated that on arriving at the beach ho found that Mr Guide has just died. An examination showed that the cervical vertebrae was fractured, (which in his opinion was the cause of death, together with compression of the spinal cord, the injuries being consistent, with having fallen off n horse. Amy A. Guide, (Widow of deceased, said her husband left borne about 8 a.m., riding a horse. He nyas bright and cheerful, and in good health. He had been used to horses for 25 years. J- Jeffery, R. Pearn, and J. R. Wyllio testified as to finding the body near the water’s edge and to carrying the deceased to the roadside. fine coroner returned a verdict in accordance with the medical evidence-
