MAN SENTENCED TO GUILLOTINE TAVO SISTERS GET TEN YEARS EACH (U.P.A. by Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Nov. l, 7.10 p.m.) PARIS, October 31. Verdicts of guilty were returned at the trial at A'ix-en-Provence, in which PMlomene and Catherine Schmidt, German sisters, and George Barrett, an Italian domiciled lii France, were jointly charged with the disposal of two victims in sulphuric acid baths, and the subsequent collection of insurance. Sarrett was sentenced to be guillotined in the pulflic square of the town;- and: the two sisters Schmidt to ten years’ penal servitude each.
