THREE ONE-ACT PLAYS.
TO BE PRODUCED ON OCTOBER. 27
Theatregoers will be pleased to learn that the above Society proposes to stage another of its extremely popular entertainments at the Opera House on Friday October 27, and will remember the outstanding success of their last effort ! ‘Thc Man from Toronto.’’
The public taste will he wefi catered for by being treated to three onc-act plays, beginning with a comedy verging on the burlesque; the second a delightful fantasy in which the players will appear beautifully frocked in period costumes and the third an intense drama depicting the emotions of the Soviet Russia’s three classes.
The Society now has its own honorary orchestra- supplying music, which will, of itself, he a first class item of the programme. Booking opens at -Tattersall and Bayly’s on Saturday next, October 21, and prices are a® follows: 3s, 2s, and In (no tax).
