TO THE DEATH

HELP PROMISED HITLER. IF GERMANY RE-ARMS. WHAT WILL FRANCE DO? (U.P.A. by Elec. T«d. Copyright) (Received Oct. 16, 11.40 p.m.) BERLIN, Oct. 16. After the election on November 12, the Reichstag will meet at once and then the present dictatorial Government regime will resume. Telegrams from industrial and other organisations throughout Germany are pouring in to Herr Hitler affirming the readiness of all classes to follow the Chancellor “to the death.” Nevertheless many thinking people are already asking what is France going to do. It is realised that, should Germany demand the right to re-arm after November 12 France will certainly take drastic action. The word “rearm” does not appear in any Nazi manifesto.
