John Dahvood, aged 17, of Portobollo, who was riding on horseback through Portobello last evening was run into bv a bus belonging to the Peninsula Motor Service,and received severe Injuries to his head. Ho died while being taken to hospital.

FATAL ROAD ACCIDENT HASTINGS, May 28. Peter Temby, who was admitted! to Napier Hospital • in a serious condition on Friday, as a. result of a coF Union between a lorry and a. cart in which ho was driving, died at PRO this morning.
