In ono of the largest buying waves* for a- Saturday session in years, stocks swept upward today, closing with gains ranging from- one to eight points Or more. Wall Street buzzed with the Possibility of the establishment here of ji.n open gold market, permitting gold to advance above the legal level following the proposed voiding of gold the clauses in public and private obligations.
Gold, issues were in wild flurry of buying which swept through virtually all categories, shares and comrao (lilies surging up in sympathy. WINNIPEG, May 27.
Tho opening of the surge, of buying sent wheat futures soaring into higher ground today and, at the close, they maintained gains of 2J to 2J cents. May closed at fly cents, July at Gffjj- cents, October, at 071 and December at 081.
