UNRESTRICTED ENTRY OF. EXPORTS TO BRITAIN

Tho position in regard to the marketing of New Zealand’s produce in Britain and! the proposals for quotas and restrictions was considered -at. a meeting yesterday of the executive of the Associated' Chambers or Commerce.
It was considered most important that New Zealand should take any opportunity of safeguarding itself against such restrictions applying to its products, and the- following resolution from the Dunedin Chamber was unanimously endorsed; “That the free and unrestricted entry of our exports into Great Britain is so vital to New Zealand that negotiations should be initiated to ascertain on, what terms this right can he secured, and we should be prepared to make ■ concessions Lo achieve this end.”
It was decided to convey the resolution to Ihe Government, with a request that it be represented to tho British Government.
