Raymond Hodsoii, ID, was charged to-day with being found in possession of two revolvers and ammunition without lawful, proper, and sufficient excuse, and also with being found in possession of an unregistered revolver.
Sub-Inspector "Martin said that from the accused's account- it appeared that while hunting round among rubbish, in Central Park he found the revolver, loaded with two cartridges. Ho kepi, it till yesterday when 1.0 took it to town with him. Flo mot a man named Clarke, to whom !:e showed it. and while Clarke was handling it in the street it exploded and a hullot went through Clarke’s hand. Clarke was admitted to hospital but, fortunately, was not seriously injured. Tl::o accused never told the police- bo bad found the revolver. That was what he should have dona. There was no record of It having been registered. The accused had stated that rthe other revolver had been given to him.
