The death occurred recently at Northumberland, United Kingdom, of Air. T. AI. Ferguson, who' was formerly sheep-farming at' Ormond, Poverty Bay, in partnership with Air. Thomas Trotter. Commenting on the- late Air. Ferguson, an English paper stated: —
“The funeral of Air. T. Af. Ferguson, of Braeside. The interment took place in the churchyard. Aiks Ferguson was the chief mourner, and there were also present Sir Archibald AVhite, A1.F.1T.. Trewhitt Hall: Col. Alilvain, Af.F.H.. Eglingham Hall; Alajor and Airs. Ncilson, Charlton Hall; Captain Collingwood, Cornhill House; Captain H. G. Carr Ellison; Alajor and Airs. J. Rea, Herrington House; Captain Taylor, Haddington; Captain J. O. Fenwick, Longfrnmlington, and a large number of other followers of bounds/’

Ireland,. 76 years ago and came to New Zealand as a young woman. Tho daughter of a (farming family, she found the country life in this country well suited to her tranquil and kindly temperament. She had been resident in Poverty Bay for many years and her marriage was oela bratod here. A wide circle of friends null deeply regret her 'passing, and especial sympathy will be extended to tlio boreaved husband. Tho 'interment will take place at Ormond cemetery at 2.30 p. ml to-day (Thursday)-
