COOK COUNTY STAFF
IN LINE WITH GOVERNMENT'
Further salary •■'cuts 1 ’ were decided upon by tfie Cook County Council at yesterday’s meeting, the aim being to bring the salaries in line with the Government reductions. The council staff had previous substantial ''cuts’’ nearly two years ago. Regarding this matter the finance committee reported -as follows :
; Tt was resolved to recommend to ire council that a further reduction be made in tiic salaries of the staff to bring them into line with the Government salary reductions. : ’ Alter discussion in committee, the report- was adopted.
