Further salary •■'cuts 1 ’ were decided upon by tfie Cook County Council at yesterday’s meeting, the aim being to bring the salaries in line with the Government reductions. The council staff had previous substantial ''cuts’’ nearly two years ago. Regarding this matter the finance committee reported -as follows :
