A cortege over a mile long followed Sir Thomas Sidey’s .remains to Anderson’s Bay '-cemetery, and tho route was linod with spectators, testifying. to the deceased’s huge personal popularity. Wreaths from all parts °f New Zealand filled two cars. The Hon. J. A. Young .represented the Government. The funeral oration was delivero' by Professor Dickie, moderator-elect' of the Presbyterian Church.
