AUCKLAND, May 19
A. representative of the British Broadcasting Corporation, Mr. Malcolm A. Frost, arrived by the- Monterey to investigate New Zealand: reception of programmes from the Empire broadcasting station. He said the corporation did not intend to make a charge to any Dominion or ' colony for #the programme until a regular daily service of real entertainment value was provided. Owing to the poorness of reception in New Zealand, and the unsuitability of our stations for relaying, tho corporation had supplemented the Empire service with a scries of electrical transcriptions, for' which a small charge will be made.
