'‘Great praise is duo to your committee for the activity and vigilance it has displayed in investigating cases of cruelty and neglect and reporting them to the secretary or an inspector. They also worn very active during Show week, when we had a tent on the showground to enrol mom hors and distribute literature, also a flag day on the Saturday. Thanks ai'o -duo to Miss Barron for the help given by her, dog which had a col lection box and received more money during the week for the society than any individual, to the. showground committee, the Borough Council several Girl Guides, and the polico for their help and assistance.

“Tho expenses of tho society have not been great and with increased membership and subscriptions it is expected that in the nen.v future we may havo a permanent inspector.”
