MAJESTIC
• ■ I iIEY JUST HAD TO GET MARRIED 1 ' -Apart from the double value in newsreels, comedy is the whole entertainment in the new programme at Tlie Majestic with the Pitts-Summer-ville special, “They Just Had to Get Married”, as the great attraction. The introductory section embraced a cartoon absurdity, a satirical film parody and a dramatic farce, all good in their kind, which had the house in laughing mood' for the star film. Tn ’this the story is unimportant beyond launching, through the will of a rich man, a butler and maid into the maelstrom of marriage and unaccustomed 1 high-life surroundings, [with a flock of disappointed relatives around to make it as hard as possible for the interlopers, and the fun is fast and furious. Summerville and Pitts prove the ideal leads for the occasion and they have the advantage of support from an exceptional cast including such notable players as Roland Young, Fifi D’Or say, Veree Teasdale, Cl Aubrey Smith. The result is. a laughter feast. To-morrow, “On Our Selection” will bo presented for a four-day season. Patrons are advised to make, early applications for' seats. The usual prices prevail, and there is no extra charge for booking.
