'WELLINGTON, May 16 An anti-cyclone is -still centred 1° tlie northeast of Auckland Peninsula, while a series of westerly depressions extends from Tasmania to southern New Zealand. "Winds:—'Moderate to strong northwesterly to westerly, still gale form in places from Pook Rcrait southwards, hacking later to southwesterly in the south. Seas:—Rough on the West Coast and offshore south n f Castlepoint, cl sew lie re moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea:—Strong west to southwest winds, rough seas. Weather:—Manily fair in the eastern districts, elsewhere changeable, squally rain at times, and further heavy falls on the West Coast ol the South Island. Mild temperatures.
