CRICKET
STUDENTS AT PLAY
(Special To The Times). A cricket fixture of iuterest between boys of tfie Tokomaru Bay and Waipiro Bay districts on holiday from various schools (including Christ’s College, New Plymouth High School, Gisborno High School, and Tokomaru and AVaipiro Bay schools) was played at AVaipiro Bay on Tuesday. The AVaipiro Bay: district won on this occasion, giving a lead of 2 to 1 in matches. A further match is to be played at Tokomaru Bay on Saturday. Mr. W. Oates and Mr. J. Moody acted as umpires and also generously transported the visiting team to AVaipiro Bay in their cars.
