The public examination in bankruptcy of Robert Sievei; showed liabilities totalling £4689 and assets of only .£55. Ho admitted four, previous failures from which be had been discharged. He had been in the hands of moneylenders since 1929. He attributed liis insolvency to lack of remunerative employment, aiul the depreciation of the value of bloodstock. i At a mooting of the creditors of Sievor in November, ' the official receiver reported that in debtor’s previous bankruptcy involving £IOO,OOO no dividend was , paid. ' The debtor’s only occupation since. 1929 was that of editor of a sporting journal at a salary of £2OOO a year. His expenditure in 1931-32 was at the rate of £I3OO a year, and lie owed £3300.
