(Press Association, i WELLINGTON, Jan. 24. —General Situation— Extensive cyclonic depressions cqvoi* tho interior of Australia, tout a moderate anti-cyclone extends from the Tasman Sea on to New Zealand, pressure being highest to the south. —Forecast. — Winds: Fresh cast to north-cast in the far north, elsewhere light to moderate and variable, with souther, lies prevailing,. Seas : Smooth to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Light southerly winds, and smooth to' moderate soas. Weather; For Llict most part fine, with warm day but moderate night temperatures; scattered showers likely however, in North Auckland .and betwee'n Hawke’s Ray and the East Cape, though mainly in the hills.
