MAJESTIC THEATRE
GOOD JJOUPLE PILL Will Rogers scores another triumph in “Ambassador Bill’’ .the current attraction at the Majestic Theatre. In this production he is seen as a hackwoods American; who is sent as American/ ambassador to tlto mock Central European kingdom of Sylvaniu. His blunt, over-riding of court etiquette is the source of many amusing scones. -Shortly after his arrival the new ambassador finds that the court is dominated by a sinister figure, Prince Polikoff, played ill a thoroughly convincing manner- by Gustai’ von SoyJFertitz. As the result of his intrigue the king lias been induced to abdicate, ; and.' there reigns in, his stead : liisi eight-year-old son,' who- is; a mere .figure-head. .Rogers undertakes to reconcile the king and queen, and to defeat the prince, and the .'method's he adopts to- gain this end provides a climax to a plot, which is not lacking in'thrills. Tim McCoy is seen iii, one of the heAV type of western dramas, “The Texas Cyclone”, a story of the great out-doors, iu which adventure, thrills and. action are cleverly blended. Featurettes include a comedy and some scenes of-night-life in Paris.
