A NEW PLANE
NO PROPELLERS. WINGS ROTATE LIKE PADDLES. (U.P.A. by Elec. Tel. Copyright.) (Received Jan. 18, 9 p.m.) BERLIN, Jan. 17. The Adolf Rohrbach aeroplane Company has designed a propellerless aeroplane, which they claim will revolutionize aeronautics. The plane will rise and descend perpendicularly, stand still in mid-air, and then turn in any direction. The ipachine will be propelled by the rotation of its own wings, each consisting of three paddles like a paddle steamer.
