The economic section of the Preparatory Committee fur the World Economic Conference lias arrived at a decision concerning industrial agreements and cartels Governments should not intervene, but in tlie case of others such as coal, wood, wheat and transport, the Government’s help would be necessary in order to reach r solution.
Tho committee decided to recoinmond the abolition of subsidies being granted by Governments iu shipping companies.
