HIDE aND SHEEPSIvIN SALE

“At to-day’s sale we ottered a lmge 'catalogue of bides and sheepskins to the usual attendance of buyers, emupetition. being animated throughout. In- sympathy with, the appreciated rise in wool, dry sheepskins showed an advance of a farthing, to a halfpenny per pound, - whilst lambskins were three farthings to one penny dearer. Hides were also in keen re-j quest, yearlings bringing three-eighths m ore—medium and light cows advanced ,one-eighth, whilst light ox ; were one eighth pence easier, - and heavy ox hides also showed an advance of one-eighth to one farthing, but calfskins were . a little, easier. 5 STOCKS AND SHAKES.
