“The Shadow Between” which opens at itilio Majestic Theatre j s a fascinating drama of lore and sacrifice,
written by - the eminent playwright Dion Titlieradge. The main roles are
taken by Godfrey Tearjc, distinguished stage star, arid Kathlceh. O’Regan, Miss O’Regan, in the emotional role of tho young wife who make a, great sacrifice to dispel “the shadow, between”, proved herself an artistic and talented actress. The cast has been excellently chosen, and in addition to iflli’d good work, of Tbafle arid Miss O’Regan, the acting of Olga Lindo as an underworld character is said to be excellent, especially in the scene, where she gives herself up to the police to save Miss O’Rcgun from another wrongful accusation. , Tearle is - gaoled in a sacrifice to an unworthy old father; and determines not to bring shame on his wife—whom he married unselfishly to provide! her with a home and support, leaving her absolutely free—and ,tell s her ho will not return to her; But she has
grown to love him and wants him back and to put) herself on the level with him she gets into gaol herself for a theft another girl, had committed. Tn trying later on to shield this girl she is so fine that Nellie’s heart is touched, and she confesses her guilt Buck Jones j s , seen with ,Loretta .Sayr ers in “High Speed” in which Ire wins an international, race against overwhelming odds.
