.-OOIA L YEWS (Special to the Time;,.) Mr, T. 11.’and Miss J. Harrison have returned to Hastings after a visit to Tokomarn Bay. NEW YEAR DANCE A highly successful New Year dauce wa s held on Monday night ct Te Puia Springs by the Waipiro Bay Tennis Club. It .was well patronised by tennis enthusiasts- from far aid near, including many of those ; n attendance at. the club’s tournament, from ether centre’s. The hall was tastefully decorated and the. floor was in excellent order. Music was supplied by the "Moonlight” orchestra, and, under the capable direction of Mr Lcn Lunken as M.C., festivities were continued until the small hours A committee of local ladies provided a dainty supper.
