TRAINING OF YOUTH GERMANY’S VIEWPOINT (U.P.A. by Elec. Tel, Copyright ) LONDON, Jan. 2The Times’ Berlin correspondent states that a hint that Germany is aiming at military service for youth was given by General von Schleicher during the President’s New Year reception. Referring to disarmament. General von Schleicher said Germany returned to -Geneva in order to achieve real disarmament, and to obtain the same, security.as achieved by other uni ions. If she could, succeed in restoring to German youth the right 1o bear arms within the frnmew'- 1 . '- f ' the militia, a big step inwards ending internal dissensions would bare been made.

General Von SohloiehoW statement is provoking acid comment from the newspapers, which declare it deserves emphasis as the first political manifestation characteristic of the ‘ new year, and compares unfavorably with M. Paul - Boneour’s pacific reply that the diplomatic body is hoping for a. peaceful solution of international questions.
