ANNUAL CLEAN-UP WEEK. r rHE Council have decided that a 1 General Clean-up We ole shall be observed in Gisborne, and this year same will commence on WEDNESDAY. 19th OCTOBER. 1932. Householders are requested to undertake a systematic clean-up of their premises. and tr> collect aid old tins (all tins must be flattened), rags and other rubbish lying about, and deposit =ame in a tidy heap on the roadside, when the Couneil’s lorries will remove same free of post, order of removals being as follows : K.MTT • WEDNESDAY, lfttli. All Residents are urgently asked to co-operate in this movement and thus improve the health conditions of the Town. At the conclusion of the Clean-up Campaign, the Inspector will make a house to house visit, and the occupier of any premises where an accumulation of rubbish is found will he prosecuted, and will also be required to iwv for ,the removal of such rubbish, as in no case will the Council remove this extra collection of rubbish after the week as above specified.
