A SUCCESSFUL DANCE. Complete) success attended the very jolly dance Feld under - the auspices of the dishorn© City Band in the Waikunae Beach Kiosk on Thursday night, in aid of the fund to provide uniforms for the younger members of the band. Th c pretty room, with it- s many casement windows gaily curtained with cretonne, formed an effective setting for the dancers, who thoroughly entered into the spirit of the occasion. The inspiriting music- supplied by Mrs. Men rues’ orchestra, was all that could he desired, and the duties of M.C. were most efficiently carried out by Mr. McKuight. Supper was sowed informally under the supervision of Mesdames A. M. Beale. Bedstone. 'Wood and Marley, the members of the band waiting most assiduously on the guests.
