BLIND MAN' FATALLY INJURED IJY TRAM going to religious MEETING. (pl ess Associa lion.) AUCKLAND Oct. 5 A blind man. William Buckley, was knocked down by a tram in Newmarket evening and died in hospital this' morning. Buckley was employed at the Blind Institute, and was also a prominent Salvationist, and was going, to a religious meeting when lie was struck. • ■ Ernest August Heg]i saw Buckley about'.to' cross the, street and offered to guide iliim.
