TO-MOIMi O AM—‘■ ‘IN I)ISCREE!" ■ ‘lndiscreet” tile story of a modern girl’s crusade to prevent a rejected suitor from marrying her younger sister with sometimes hilarious and sometimes almost tragic results, and Gloria Swanson's latest offering, which will begin its season at the Regent Theatre to-morrow, is a fast moving comedy drama,, with Miss Swanson rising to the opportunities afforded in a highly brilliant manner, and she is capably supported by a cast of unusual talent headed by Bon Lyon, with sueli other fop-no tellers as Barbara .Kent, Arthur Lake, Monroe Owls Icy, and Maude Elburnc. There are, however, two songs used which were written hv the authorcomposers entitled ‘‘Coin© to Al.e”. and "If You Haven’t Got Love” wjiich, of course;, are headed for ■ “hit” dimensions if they are not already in that classification. Ben •Lyon’s work is of outstanding character and adds to the evening’s entertainment. Barbara- Kent and Arthur Lake handle their roles in true “old trouper’’ fashion. Monroe Owlsley as the “heavy” shines too, as does the rest of the cast. In ‘Ttidiscreet” Fans of Miss Swanson particularly wll find nothing lacking in the display of brilliant wardrobe. She wears creations in her characteristic manner ’which will be a delight to every woman’s eye. An excellent supporting programme accompanies “Indiscreet.”
