At the wool safes 11,605 bales were offered and 11,072 sold, and 971 bales were disposed of privately. The market is still very firm, prices displaying a still further upward tendency. Bulky skirtings were 5 per cent, dearer. The continental and Japanese sections again dominated the bidding. Excellent clearances were made. Greasy merino sold to I6£d.
